We pull the piles. You close the site.

Pile removal for abandoned wells and decommissioned oilfield sites. A crew located in Grande Prairie, working across the Peace Region and wherever the job takes us.

Our story

Bigfoot Pile Pros Inc. is a family-owned and operated company that is built and driven by hardworking, determined brothers with a mission: to bring innovation and efficiency to an industry where we saw clear room for improvement. Bigfoot Pile Pros Inc. is proud to be an up-and-coming innovation in site reclamation and decommissioning.

Abandoned wells and decommissioned sites leave piles in the ground, and someone has to take them out. We set out to be that crew, and today we are the only pile removal company in northern Alberta.

Pile Removal Process

At Bigfoot Pile Pros Inc. we specialize in removing both pounded and screw piles that vary from 2" in diameter to 10" in diameter. This is possible thanks to our patent-pending Pile Extraction Device (P.E.D.). Our revolutionary device allows us to extract and dispose of piles safely, economically, and efficiently.

Mounted easily to a skid steer via quick attach, the P.E.D. is guided over piles, securing them using a unique internal locking mechanism. This ensures consistent and secure handling during extraction. Utilizing powerful hydraulic cylinders, the P.E.D. engages and disengages repetitively to pull the pile from the ground gradually.

No pile is too long—if it exceeds approximately 25 feet (depending on weight/diameter), we employ the P.E.D.’s safety bars to lock the device in place, enabling us to cut the exposed portion safely. Once cut, operators maneuver the P.E.D. away from the remaining pile in the ground to a new, safe location. They then tilt the P.E.D. toward the ground until it makes contact. Afterwards, operators will help guide the pile through the P.E.D. and onto the ground to fully remove the cut pile from the P.E.D. to begin extraction of the remaining exposed pile. We repeat this process until the pile is fully removed. Upon removal, we backfill the resulting holes with sand, gravel, or any material the customer prefers—truly restoring the ground in an environmentally responsible way.

This makes Bigfoot Pile Pros Inc. a quick, simple, and efficient solution to pile reclamation, capable of fully extracting piles with minimal ground disturbance and allowing for 100% site reclamation.

Why Choose Bigfoot

Traditional cut-and-cap methods leave behind hazards and remnants that can disrupt the environment. Our P.E.D. offers a better solution that allows for the complete removal of piles, restoring land cleanly and safely—leaving little to no environmental trace. Our commitment to doing it right the first time ensures that sites are truly reclaimed for future use.

At Bigfoot Pile Pros Inc., safety, integrity, and innovation guide everything we do. We are confident that our P.E.D. technology represents the future of pile extraction, site reclamation and decommissioning, and we are excited to share its benefits with companies like yours.

Other Services

Need more than pile removal? We take on these jobs too.

Mulching

We clear overgrown brush and small trees and grind them into mulch right where they stand. Removing that dense fuel helps slow the spread of fire, and opening up roads and sightlines makes it easier for crews, equipment, and emergency vehicles to get in and out.

Snow Removal

Residential and commercial snow removal through the winter. We keep driveways, parking lots, and access roads clear so homes and businesses can stay open and safe when the snow falls.
